Who we are

LEAP Global is operated by HSB Solutions Ltd., 700-1914 Hamilton Street, Regina, SK S4P 3N6, Canada ("we", "us"). For anything about your data, email leap@leapglobal.net.

What we collect

When you fill in the form on our site, we collect your name, email address, where you're based, what you were looking for, anything you choose to write in the optional fields, and whether you'd like to receive our newsletter. Our website platform may also record basic technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) through cookies, which you can manage via the cookie banner.

Why we collect it

We use your information to understand what engineers want from LEAP as we redesign it, and to email you when LEAP reopens. If you tick the newsletter box, we'll also send you The Future Engineer, our free weekly email, which you can unsubscribe from at any time. We don't sell your data or share it with third parties for their own use.

Where it's stored

Your information is stored with our website provider, Wix.com, which may process data on servers outside Canada, including in the United States and the EU. Wix acts only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Until LEAP relaunches and we've contacted you. If LEAP hasn't relaunched within 24 months of your submission, we delete it. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing leap@leapglobal.net. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority; in Canada, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
